Hey /out/, I feel like greentexting you my history with this board as a thank you to all you kind and helpful anons. Feel free to comment on it or narrate your own introduction to the outdoors.

>Small friend group, 20kg overweight, way too many videogames, virgin.

>Always liked the mountains, didn't know anyone to teach me/bring me hiking.
>Show interest in a post, but hesitating.

>Gather the balls to actually do it and go solo.
>Do it, chill the entire time, feel free as fuck.
>Get into it, even bring a friend camping and other friends hiking.
>In the span of 5 years got into hiking, camping, swimming, rock climbing and now, alpinism.
>Got fit, met a lot of interesting people who share my interests. Even fucked thanks to it.
