Also, ergonomics on a 10 litre pack? Good luck, anon. You're not going to find internal/external framed packs at that volume.
But even my shitty local backpack brand (fuck sino-american junk, buy local junk) has a small 12L made with ripstop nylon. So you should have plenty to choose from.

mostly spools of nylon rope on top of my daily carry of water and food and a few tools. And to be clear, most where loaded on the back with that laser cut molle and tied up, not on the inside. Its small, but its just the right size for me, i dont end up with a shit ton of stuff i dont need with me.

my work, i do eco protections for construction on ski resorts. the rope was a mix of set hiking tails i built, and work area's. we did a bunch of rock blasting at like 10,000 feet and the only access was hiking in. foot traffic can fuck up a lot more than u think when its over months, and on decomposing granite erosion is a big problem.
