I used to love night walks when I lived in PIttsburgh, PA. It was quiet, cool, not to many cars or people but if you wanted to people watch you could still stroll through the areas with nightlife. Otherwise you could easily walk for hours without interacting with anyone. As an introvert who loves cities, but hates people this was amazing.
Live in Los Angeles, CA now and I can't go out walking at night without homeless dudes trying to hit me up for money every few blocks. At least I'm just a 30 min walk from the beach which is baller, but walking around being hit up for cash, seeing people smoke meth and shout obscenities into the air while crazy really takes the tranquility out of my walks.
