This is sort of like the tactical craits, why do I want a bunch of random stuff no matter how cool it is? True it is all at a discount but if i just bought what I wanted id be more happy.
Craits are fun Becauae you get to open them up like gifts, thats a cool concept. I loved opening the bark box with my dog while we had the subscription.
Its just for practical things you should do your own shopping.

The fishing boxes were sort of fun, but you could customize them to the type of fish you’re going for, and they also customize the boxes a bit for the season. Not to mention fishing lures are eventually going to get lost or worn out. I did it for a few months but was sick of the 1/3 of the box I would never use.

I thought the MTB sucked too. It felt like I was getting boxes of the stuff that didn't sell at the tackle shop, as well as the owners offloading the brands of lures owned by their friends. At the end of the day, I think its more fun to buy my own lures, take advice from locals and develop my own fishing philosophy.

It’s kind of a tossup. It was cool because it will force you to try new stuff. And you’re getting $30 MSRP worth of baits for $15, but you will probably only use half of the stuff in the box, so you might as well just go buy two lures in the exact color you want for that $15.
