I'm in Edinburgh and very keen to get out there and do some hiking and exploring. Nothing too difficult, as i'm still working on my fitness, but I don't really have any idea on where to go in my area, other than the standard Pentlands/Reservoirs/Arthur's seat

They are a lovely archipelago, don't get me wrong, but meh. It's mostly private property. Especially the shoreline.

Orcas has that nice big park surrounding mount whats-its-name though.

I think the problem might be that they're in Washington, which is just so goddamn ripe with /out/ content of almost every description that they get lost in the noise.
