aircraft need to be constantly checked and maintained and a lot of parts need to be periodically swapped out so you'd need a crew and a large stash of parts and fuel somewhere

i'm sure it's doable if you're willing to drop half a billion or so

Not really no, unless your looking to go on a smaller scale with a hot air baloon. The less moving parts present, less fuel needed and the more reparable your vehicle is the better.
