I apologize if this type of thread has become cancerous; I've only ever seen it done once.
Tl;dr I'm going innawoods for two nights; posts ending in 0 and 5 decide the 8 items I take with me. One item suggestion per post. I'm not going to buy anything that's more than a couple bucks, alcohol excluded.
I'm in rural maine and yes it's cold. So the 8 items won't include my sleeping bag and any clothes I need to keep warm.
One item must be a firestarter of some kind; either matches, lighter, flint, and/or magnesium.
Food, hydration, cutting tool and everything else I leave to you. by the way it's forecast to rain Saturday night.
If this thread is unwelcome, call me a fag and I'll leave. Else, I will deliver pics and a story on Sunday night.
