First time deer hunting

Going deer hunting this fall with some friends. What do I need at minimum?

I have: Browning A-bolt, insulated alpha burley pro boots and a habit parka. Besides the orange vest do I need anything else? Range finder/binoculars? A huge knife? Etc etc.

Any tips would be appreciated, thanks. hunting in the cold north

to be fair i'm not aware of any state that allows you to get a hunting license without a hunter's ed certificate.

Some states have exceptions if you're a boomer who has held a hunting license for X amount of years before the requirements were introduced. But for any new hunting licensee, i'm pretty sure all states require the hunter's ed certificate
