>>2295262Different perspective: I'm a girl who goes /out/. All my /out/ friends are guys, when it's a big group of us it's class. When we were teenagers we used to go on trips almost every weekend.
However last week I went on a 4 day excursion with an old friend from my teenage /out/ days. It was supposed to be a bit of a reunion but the two others who were supposed to be coming had a work emergency (they're business partners) and had to drop out of the trip the first day. So now:
>be me>show up at start of hike to meet old friend>he looks like shit. Hair unkempt, unshaven, horrible BO, breath reeks, very clearly hasn't lived properly in a long time.>picrel>he tells me he's been doing some "nomad" shit for about a year>aka squatting>good for him I guess>go on first day of hike, it's pleasant enough>sit round fire, drink whisky, talk about old times, it's nice>conversation is awkward at times but tolerable>the trip progresses>the conversation gets more and more stilted>I'm walking, looking at the view, chilling etc. and he's spending most of the time staring at me>set up camp, light up a joint>I'm trying to relax but he's still silently staring at me, not even fucking blinking>I tell him to quit it>he says he's not technically doing anything wrong>ffs, how am I supposed to enjoy myself when you're being the weirdest mf>wake up in the morning, last day of trip>he doesn't say a word the whole day, until we get to the end of the trail>he tells me he's developed feelings for me>in fact, he thinks he's in love with me>literally haven't seen him in years>and it sounds like he's homeless>and in a repulsive state>"I can show you what I have to offer. Let's kiss.">those exact words passed out of his mouth>I say no and go home>he texts me the next day asking if I want to come to the forest he's currently living in, so we can go on a date>hard passSo if you're going to take a girl /out/ please don't do that.
