The cycles of the sun are reaching a 400 year minimum. How would you prepare for cooler temperature for growing?

Select russian kale and other shorter-season varieties. Use the Joseph Lofthouse method to produce local landraces for your area, but plant them too early/late so they withstand cold weather germination and have shorter seasons to contend with. Plant yourself a woodlot and learn about coppicing/pollarding, which is the medieval, sustainable way of having enough firewood each year. Plant stonefruit.

idk fren, here the summers have peak tempt while winters are very warm. When i was kid we had almost constant snow for long periods of time between early dec till late feb. Today temp was 9C and the snow holds for no more than 3-4 days.
