What do yall think about this for a hiking jacket for moderate temps, it's about 155€, I like the design alot, by that I mean the sides which are basically big vents, seems nice. Any recommendations for a simmilar jacket/ opinions on this one?

Softshells are a decent outer layer, UF Pro is a reputable manufacturer. Mind you, I hear their cuts are not accomodating of superfluous body fat. This jacket looks like it's not made for layering underneath, but it looks decently breathable so putting another shell on top is an option.

I have the similar Delta Ace Plus gen.2 Tactical winter jacket since 2 years or something like that.
I can post a picture in a day or so.

I like it. Great quality, great design, but overkill if you want to save weight.

Soft shells are great for short trips without rain forecast.
But buy your soft shell in a real shop. They are all "body-cut" and shit and really depend on your body proportions to fit. Won't be your favorite brand or color or "equipment", but at least fits and doesn't have sleeves or collar too long, etc.

I'm around 189cm or 6.2 tall and at the moment, a big fatty at close to 100kg, deluded into being bearmode.
The jacket is holding up well, I use it maybe every 2 weeks outdoors. More often in the city.

The arms are more insulated than the torso, the shoulders and the back have the white pad inlays. That help with sweat a lot, and somewhat with backpacks, somewhat with rains as the wet clothes don't stick to you.

I'm wearing it with a red adidas sports jumper underneath as it was quite cold and windy at around 0°C. i still can wear my normal Rain shell over it.

yeah 2- 15°C that's around the range for me.
2°C is fine and just at the edge of being cold when I go on a walk on a windless, dry night, after gym. If I have a backpack with some weight, it's complete fine. The hand sleeves are kinda thick and tight and keep in the warm. So you have to hold the sleeves of your undergarments if you don't want them to bunch up when putting on the soft shell.

I usually use it as the second layer (t-shirt and this) but i can wear stuff below or over it too.

Nice, I'm still debating if I should get it or the hunter, I genuinely don't know, they should both be nice in the same temp range but I've heard people use the delta for 5c and below and the hunter for anything above that

But why, OP. I mean it is a nice jacket, but it is for different usage. If you want military, but also for what you will use it, go with Carinthia or Tilak.

Get a proper Goretex jacket, it is way more useful. I would recommend a 3in1 Goretex with a ~200g fleece, they are very versatile.
I personally do not like softshell jackets, but if you really dig them, more power to you.

Thanks for the suggestions, I've never heard of Tilak but their stuff seems nice, not really my thing tho, I checked the carinthia webpage and they have some nice jackets but alas carinthia is even more expensive then ufpro their "G-LOFT® TLG Jacket" seems like a nice altrnative to the delta jacket but, the delta seems more thought out as per usual with UF they overthing everything but usually in a good way. Also I'm decently sure our game wardens use UF so I can do a little trolling while in the woods

Do you have any expirience with ufpro jackets? I'm really having problems deciding since both I mentioned should work in the same temp ranges, the delta is a bit more beefy so I'm hesitant because I'd mostly use it between 5-25celsius
