about 75-100+ years ago canada was much purer to the stereotype, not to mention people werent gigantic faggots either. nowadays people who hold up that stereotype are a minority, apart from far out rural places, and even then they are still outliers.
i have seen people who burn up in the winter sun complain about cold, even having a genetic affinity towards it. its just modern conditioning, most people associate bad things with the cold, mostly perpetuated by television and other medias.
i jog all winter long a few times a week and never get sick, the only time i get sick is when i do that while smoking or drinking which ive given up. infact having your body deal with the cold benefits your immune system over time.
