Just did the French Spiral Hitching on my Sven Saw.
18' 550 brown paracord.
Used rubberband to tiedown the first end.
Perma needle was not really needed.
Once you get the pattern down (about 5-6 turns), you focus on keeping it straight and uniform.
Curved forcepts really needed to tuck working end back under.
Knife = Schrade Mariner. Nice.
