only a few dozen species can be grown artificially with any reasonable success
these are:
>oysters>psychedelics>shiitake>lion's mane>enoki>chestnut>a few othersthere are 2 kinds of mushrroms, those that grow on shit and those on wood
base substrate is the same, 30g wheat bran and 100g of either coco coir (shit) or hardwood fuel pellets (wood, turns into sawdust when wet)
pack loosely into PP5 containers and autoclave for 90 min

learn sterile tissue culture cuz you need it
agar recipe: 20 g agar + 20 g malt extract per L of water. autoclave 20 min
use mason jelly jars with plastic lids.you'll lose about 3 per dozen due to shitty glass quality but can use the brokens once. those that survive, will be usable for many times
stock up on creme brulee tourch/butane or propane, xacto knife blades, 70% iso alcohol, gloves, paper towels, toothpicks, syringes+needles, etc
take an internal piece of the mushroom close to the center of the cap and put it on agar. or germinate spores
transfer it to fresh agar fast, as soon as it's fuzzy white (usually)
keep transferring fast until you get no mold (green usually) or bacteria (translucent splotches usually)
when clean: take a syringe and squirt sterile water around your plate
suck up teh water + mycelium and squirt into sterile broth (same recipe as agar but w/o he agar, only malt)
ferment this 2 weeks stirring frequently
then you can take a fresh syringe and squ=irt that into the sterilized substrate described above

sterile lab = good success, don't be a pig
fruiting chamber isn't a huge deal, just put the substrates in a tote and fan it out every day
