Cut down a bamboo shoot and used it as a tarp pole.
Blue tent was given to me and used it for storage of my gear.
Just a 35L backpack and a 20L heavy duty dry bag occy strapped to the bike.
Lived like this for about 4 months.
The solo tent absolutely sucked but was so compact I didn’t really mind.

Current set up is a hennessy hammock and one tigris under with a generic good quality sleeping bag. Nc700x.
I live in Japan now so getting a site with trees is just how much my waifu wants to help me sleep alone at night and make a call to the site for me…

Japan, nah, sleep during the day for maximum privacy.
You can literally pitch a tent in a random park and nobody will bat an eye lid, as long as its during the day, nobody gives a fuck.
