I need advice on cold weather camping. I'm planning on going innawoods in Colorado next year and I am planning on staying over a year in the wilderness. But I don't know if my gear will be enough for the winter I have a big Agnes lost dog 15 degree bag and a klymit static v insulated with a r-value of 4.4 and the tent I will be using is a litefighter 1 with the cold weather system. I will more than likely be a a elevation of 10,000+ I will have merino wool base layers with fleece on top of that with pants and a jacket. Will it be enough? I looked at a temperature chart for the state but I know it can get colder than that sometimes. And I was wondering have often are blizzards and how bad are they? Pic related.
