Not that hard. I used a bullet casing (.223), made a hole in the bottom and nestled it in the
tree.It has to be deep enough to stay in place,but not deep enough for it to not work. I tied a gardening wire around the neck of a bottle and tied the rest of the wire around the tree. I usually collect about 3-5 days later.
It’s drinkable as is,but I like to filter it from any bits that come with it.
