Fuck the camper, I'd spend the whole 50k on the land and worry about shelter later. For 50k you can find 50-10 acres maybe more if your lucky. I've been keeping an eye on Zillow for months (seems like better deals to be had compared to landwatxh). That much land in that price range is going to be far from any economic opportunity. But you can still have nice rural land to roam and do as you please. I plan to buy the land out in east bumfuck and keep my apartment in the town I live in with my nice job 10 minutes away, slowly developing the land over a few years, basically just driving out to it during weekends/time off, eventually I'd hope to have a shop and maybe camper or cabin there, and then i can make a living with the shop and quit my job if I want.
