>>2317975After trying out a couple of different pads, from inflateables to insulated to self inflating to foam pads, weighing all the pros and cons has convinced me that a thick winter style foam pad is the best in every situation.
It's not the most comfy, but the extra comfort isn't worth the extra trouble of inflatable ones in my opinion.
Doesn't cost anything, doesn't weigh anything, is comfortable enough when you find a nice place to lie down, will certainly be warm enough, zero effort to put down, zero effort to pack back up, doesn't mind if you puncture it, doesn't even mind if you spill boiling water on it, literally bomb proof, will last forever despite not costing anything and they are sold on even fucking gas stations sometimes.
Everything else I take out there tends to be expensive as shit, exept for my foam pad, but it's the best and most simple.
Like when was the last time you took out your inflateable pad and threw it on the ground to have a nice place to have lunch on?
