>>2335766As an aside, I might replace that spray bandage with some super glue.
I've never even used spray bandage in my life, I just thought about maybe in mud/rain you'd want a more water-resistant wound dressing to deter bacteria?
But then, Polysporin kinda does that.
>>2336306Triangle bandage seems to just be for slinging an arm?
Are there other uses?
I feel like I could just cut up a shirt and use it to a similar effect.
The SAM splint seems handy, thanks!
Seems great for use with an ankle injury especially on a deep hike, but the fact that I'm canoeing for anywhere from 60% to 95% of my kilometres kinda detracts from it's usefulness.
I'll probably get one and bring it along for snowshoe trips in particular, or for some of my more remote solo trips.
>>2336468Condom is a great idea indeed.
I'll probably add a couple in the case with the fem hygene stuff so they stay protected.
I don't really buy condoms because I'm in a committed relationship, but I can see them being quite handy to carry and not really much extra weight/space.
Syringe for flushing deeper wounds with more effect, easy flushing eyes if there's crud in them (though I use a widemouth Nalgene and it's easy to just seal it around your eye and slosh around, but that's a bit less sanitary), and it's also handy to back flush my water filter if the need arises in the field with a bit of tubing as a coupler.
