>>2321239its one less thing for retards to coordinate. the arrow sits there on top of your hand without input. on the right you twist your hand in to hold in on.
on the left you aim by lining up the arrow tip with the target. on the right you cant see the arrow tip so aiming is fully instinctive. you feel the closing force of the bow and align that with the target.
the body mechanics shooting on the left are inferior to shooting on the right.
on the left people don't draw the bow to the full length they are capable that means the muscles isn't fully flexed and the body isn't as stable
they only draw to their mouth not down towards their shoulder so the power stroke is shorter hence a slower less powerful arrow.
when the tension is released from the shot the arm moves left. when the arrow is on the left this pushes the arrow causing to to wobble more. on the right the bow moves out of the way of the arrow meaning is flies straight. one thing you will notice is that western shooters are anal about arrow spine(flex) because they have this problem. on the right you can shoot any spine using the same habits and still hit the target.
on the right you can hold the arrow steady using both your left thumb and twisting your right hand with the thumb draw. this means the arrow is secure and wont bounce around when you are riding a horse or running for instance
on the left it will bounce off unless you stand still. asian archery kept the tradtions and style from when it was still used in practical situations and your life depended on your effectiveness.
western archery was totally forgotten the re-invented from scratch by some bored english lords. which one has the most wisdom I wonder?
