>>2322776>Is US full of places like this?Yes and it's great when city faggots don't shit up the common trails & camps
>camp fee's? Registration? Most of the best campsites are National/State Forestry land and thus free. There are plenty of commercial ones, easier to get to, more "amenities" that come with fees and registrations, but thrice as many public lands that are just a dirt road away that acts as a natural barrier to minorities. In most National Forests you can also just hike out and set up camp if you're deep enough. Those last two are the best and are literally just like picrel or better.
>Rules to follow?Generally a fire permit is required for open fires (on paper, nobody in my experience asks unless you're at an aforementioned faggot campground). Otherwise it will be posted on the road into the forest and posted again when the rules change - higher altitudes are more lenient for example and the "deeper" you get into the forest, the higher into a given mountain range you generally are.
This is from a CA fag, though. Alaska is a lot freer and the East coast is a lot stricter and higher population density means less wild like we have here. If you tourist it up, CA or AK is definitely the /out/ state for a Euro -- CA has better weather and geological diversity, plus le giant sequoias.. AK has better wilderness and people and freedom. Just avoid LA, San Francisco, and Anchorage, please, for your own sake.
