i was told by a ranger last fall that 50 local college kids decided to have a kegger at a lean-to halfway up the trail to Mt. Marcy. They allegedly carried kegs 5 fucking miles up the access trail and just left the mess.
you would not believe the shit that people are doing in the woods these days unless you saw it with your own two eyes.
