Tip: Search *insert park here*management plan, it will have the rules. some say wild camping (they call it bush camping or free camping) is allowed, some say it is but has to be within a certain radius of a fire trail or some shit, and some say its outlawed. many people 4WD because its way easier, australian parks and forests have a real lack of infrastructure and camping out of an 80 series or Troopie is way easier.
