Toilet paper isn't that heavy nor bulky. You don't need a whole roll, just get pic related and pick a few sheets which you keep in a ziplock bag. Measure how much toilet paper you really need a day, and you'll realize you don't need much and won't have problems carrying that.
Of course, pick biodegradable paper.
Also you HAVE to bury your shit, it could cause various diseases to wildlife. There are also some products you can spray on your shit to kill anything that could pose a problem to wildlife, but really, burying it is enough.
For that reason, avoid shitting near a river or any source of clean water too, as it won't only be a problem for wildlife, but for humans too.
