They are actually great jackets. The westrooper one got worn constantly and kept me warm in the Australian "winter" many times. The slightly larger, newer one didn't seem to be as warm, perhaps even a thinner fleece, but I did get it for the purpose of layering. I of course being a /k/tard love thw tacticool look so that was wjat drew me to it in the first place. That said, the arm pockets rarely get used, but in the right circumstances they can be useful.
My biggest issue is the chest height pockets, it really doesnt leave you with anywhere to put your hands when cold unless you have your hands up like youre hiding your nipples. It's also odd if you throw any large items in there like a glasses case, wouldnt look so weird in an abdominal pocket, but looks weird on your chest.
Another issue to consider is sizing. Even id you follow their sizing guide clearly, you might still end up with something meant for a chinese midget even when ordering an xxl, and no I don't wear an xxl, hell my westrooper version is an S- for snug.
