I'm from /biz/, and knowing the markets has only made me more insecure about how reliant I am on the supply chains.

I have a lofty goal of moving to Montana, farming and making my own. Problem is I live a sedentary life of nothing but shitposting, and I know next to nothing about self-sufficiency other than the fact I need to start moving towards it.

I'll be lurking to figure things out, but any directions for what I should do or which generals I should browse are appreciated. Over the next couple years, I'll be getting functionally fit and try to learn enough to try things out.
