Dutchware makes hammocks from different types of material, the number referring to their weight per square yard (Hexon 1.0 is one ounce per yard, and so on). Heavier fabric can hold more weight but is heavier, and the limit is listed.
One thing to avoid are the cheap hammocks on Amazon. A hammocks size is mostly a factor of its length rather than its width, and most cheap ones are under 10’ long. If you’re average height or taller, these aren’t very comfortable for sleeping.
