>>2340599I've always been pleased with Dutchware's hammocks. Personally unless you are very short go straight to an 11ft hammock for camping and a wide if you are taller than 6 foot. Eno/Grand Trunk etc at like 9 ft are useable but the 11ft will get you a very flat, comfortable lay. Other considerations:
-What temps do you want to use the hammock in? May want to consider a double layer to slip a pad in there or budget for an under quilt.
-Do you want a integrated bug net or not? The net is more expensive but depending on your area might be very useful.
>>2340594I have them, although most times I've been out I haven't actually gotten around to using them. However, when I have it's been nice. I am tall so being able to give myself room to move, change, etc under the tarp has been handing. I expect in slightly warmer weather where I don't have to run the tarp quite as low for wind I'll be using it more. I also figure it will be nice on some weekenders so I can porch mode with the hammock.
