>>2342615>BIC lighterweighs and cost a fraction of most things, incredibly durable including fully submerged.
Capacity to sterilize blades/needles and most important can light things that are damp.
Hours of fucking around with tinder no longer required, 1$, carry two.
I've sharpened the flattened metal part to make a blade more than once, and more than once I've used the flint of an empty lighter.
Pro tip, it works better than a fucking fero because you can use it one handed, thus holding tinder dry in the other
>moraknivWeighs and costs a fraction of most knifes, relatively durable, SS works very well in the wet and importantly so does the sheath.
I use mine mostly for gardening.
Full tang spergs need not apply.
>sawyer miniI never use mine- it's a backup.
>>2342695I generally use water purification tabs as a backup system, but I hear good things about it.
>>2342701hammocks are srs bsns if they are your primary sleep system, I used one in the jungle and in but found that anywhere else the benefits were negated by the weight of cordage and the total reliance on suitable trees.
For camping in place of a chair? That's a great idea.
>>2343069These little stoves are great but the problem is the weight of the fuel and the serious risks of using liquid fuel.
they can destroy all your other vital/expensive equipment- most things burn.
upside is the fuel can me used to start regular fires with a bic, also works in extreme cold, also you don't get that issue with half full hex canisters you don't want to take /out/ but can't refil.
main issue with gas stoves is the fuel is useless if the burner fails.

better retention in loose soil, don't bend, strangely light.
