Where can I go to climb trees? I live in Washington state around Seattle and need a secluded area where I can climb trees without being disturbed/having the cops called on me. Does anyone have experience with this?

Cops don't respond in Seattle. You could climb the trees in any park. Or be like that guy who climbed the sequoia tree by the Bon downtown.

Schmitz park has good trees and is usually empty. Or try off exit 32 or 38

A few people in my town are paraplegic because they tried to climb up pine trees and the trees snapped in half.
Pine trees in all three cases.

Being dead straight they feel solid and they are easy to climb.
The problem is as soon as the dead straight tree bends it looses a great deal of it's strength.
If you're too high up the top of the tree simply snaps.
And the outer branches having no substance the people who fall tend to fall straight to the ground, the tree only needs to bend 10 degrees to drop you 30 feet straight onto the ground.

I bought 16 acres 5 years ago.
5 acres is forest with a creek.
Oak, sweet gum, maple, long leaf pine. Most are 60-100 feet tall.

As a criminal defense attorney, my opinion is that the police aren't going to charge you with a crime if they catch climbing trees. Just don't have drugs on you and be polite if you interact with them. "I didn't know this was private property, sorry officers. I just wanted to get some exercise" is probably something you'd want to say. That being said, holy moly. I figured Washington State would have lots of opportunities for tree climbing.

I'd suggest you come up to the Bellingham area and the surrounding forest service roads. Lots of land that is undisturbed by (regular) foot traffic, especially towards Mt. Baker.

I live there, and as much as I hate the population, the forests and trails are incredible.

If you're looking for somewhere closer to the Seattle area, perhaps Green River?

Washington has tons of deciduous forest. Massive Bigleaf Maples are probably good for climbing. Pacific Madrone might be nice too.
