How do you do it?

Do you leave the toilet paper inside the hole or take it with you?

Recently I was outside and had to poop in a hole and I thought about toilet paper. Yes it's organic and eventually will degrade but if you are familiar with places in nature where people use to poop you always see a lot of toilet paper there and it's disgusting. I think toilet paper, specially if it doesn't rain, takes a lot of time to degrade and if a lot of people shit in the same place then the place gets toilet paper everywhere. Specially for people that leave it outside the hole. I think those are mostly women that just take a piss, clean themselves and leave the toilet paper there above the soil. I always put it inside the hole but even then I think that toilet paper must take a lot of time down there before it degrades.

I think it's better to take the toilet paper you used with you, it leaves the place much cleaner. Off course you need some type of bag to take it with you. I say this because I once had to poop when I was riding my bicycle and I didn't have any bag to take the used toilet paper with me.
