I've been hunting for 17 years, and just for the past three years or so got really into flintlock muzzle loading and dig it a lot more than rifle or archery hunting.

Continuing in this vein, I've been becoming increasingly interested in trapping, but know a solid fuckall about it.

Any information you could provide about what's easy to start trapping for a beginner, how to position and set up a trap line, etc would be great.

Last thing: let's say a beginner has 200$ to drop on trapping stuff. What does he pick up, and why? Thanks guys.
