I spent some time up in northern Maine (Near the Canadian Border) a few years back, it was indeed comfy and you can do damn near whatever you want, most towns that far up don't even have a police force.

Only drove through NH to get to Maine Myself, But I do Know People who go hunting In Upstate so I'd say if you Put it in a case where it's not immediatly accesible, oh and Hide your 30 Rounders (If Applicable)

But really anywhere except the eastern portion of MA, the eastern and southern portion of CT, and all of RI are good for /out/. Though CT and MA a shit for guns unless you have a license which is hard to get.
