hey friends, long story short is that i am looking to set up something of a long term camp site in the back of the property i am staying at. what i am planing is simply a fire pit, a sand box for a simple walmart tent to sit in, and a large canvas tarp to be angled over the tent to spare it from the elements. what i am wondering is what can i do to reliably store bedding in such a way that mice will not destroy it. id like to just drag a mattress out there but im sure it would not survive the mice.

is there anything else i should put out there? there will be firewood, chairs, a grill for cooking, and some lamps. suggestions?
