1. Most people don't bother with a lot of extra clothes especially on a one night trip. Depending on temps you realistically need the clothes on your back, an insulation layer, a rain layer, maybe something to sleep in, and an extra pair of socks or two.
2. What tent do you currently have. You may need to split up the tent and stuff the body/fly in the pack and strap the poles to the outside. Alternatively you may need to strap the whole thing to the top.
4. As far as cooking, less is more if you don't want to haul it. There is a reason why a lot of hikers end up with just variations on "things you heat up in boiling water." If you are committed to building a fire, how much pot do you actually need, can you do it on a rock or log in the fire instead of a stand etc.
