To answer your question OP, no I've never found any magic mushrooms, but that's not for lack of trying. I always look out for ones I recognize from growing various strains at home.

Honestly, not really.
It's not all that difficult to get spore syringes online, and after that it's just a matter of learning the (very easy) teks people use to grow them.
You can actually get a very high yield if done properly.

Fly agarics are everywhere.

I'll tell you a bit about them that isn't yet common knowledge. Of course, they are not true psychedelic mushrooms. But their active compounds are water soluble. This means that boiling the water and drinking it will give you its effect. But it also means that you can boil the water and eat the mushroom without having its effects. And amanitas are very good eating.

I've found mildly hallucinogenic blue staining mushrooms a plenty growing at a local cemetery, but I didn't eat them because the hallucinogenic properties were dubious, the poisonous properties were not well documented either, and the possibility of formaldehyde being absorbed by them.

I did find some once but they don't grow well in this area. I identified them and they contained psilocybin but were not active because that species didn't have the alkaloids that make it active. I just grow them instead it's way easier and you can't fuck up an ID
