okay what are the proper clothes to wear in hot, humid forests and wetlands?
i live in southeast texas, and it's often like 90 degrees. i've been trying different types of clothing, like jeans and army pants and underamor stuff. loose fitting, tight fitting.
i've worn buffs and keffiyehs, i've worn hats of all types. going in just a tshirt, going in a linen shirt, going in a windbreaker.
i can't figure out a way to not be fucking soaked with sweat after even just an hour or two.
i do think that long clothing is better, even with the heat, because mosquitos don't harass me so much, and wearing a buff was nice because i didn't have to wear sunscreen when out near water.
am i just shit out of luck? it's hot and i'm going to just suffer through it if i want to go innawoods?
pic related: today is an unusually cool day since we had a lot of rain yesterday.
