Many such cases

The real consideration for or against a hammock and a tent comes from climate, ground cover and general terrain. In more extreme cases, also local fauna is a factor.
You would know, if you EVER went out somewhere else than a stroll around your block.

I also don’t made sleeping on the ground actually, a good solid roll mat is better than all of that inflatable junk IMO, plus you can just lay near the fire with it.
