inflatable pillows suck just bring a normal pillow and you will sleep better

Nothing beats a real pillow, but I just got the cheap 4€ blowup pillow from Decathlon and it's really comfy for what it is. So far I've used it for two nights, hopefully it won't break too soon

I grabbed a $10 travel pillow from Walmart that compresses down and is lightweight. Been using that. The inflatable pillows are uncomfortable in my experience.

A dedicatead pillow is one of my comfort items and most defenately worth it. Doesn't really weigh anything and doesn't take up space and I have one of those ridiculous "self inflating" ones that are even bigger than the blow up models. But it insulates a little better I think.

i just bring a full sized regular pillow. never going back to using any kind of poor substitute like a rolled up jacket or whatever

pillow is one "luxury item" to bring i wont compromise on anymore. ill go lite/compact on other stuff. but no skimping on the pillow

I've tried and to be honest I can usually get away without it in the hammock. But on the ground I have often used a sweatshirt or clothing and it always feels like shit, so I just deal with the extra 2oz to bring an inflatable. Used to have a similar shaped one to the StS, got the Klymit extra large one now, just a hair under inflated seems to be perfect for me.

I have a big problem with moving off of my sleeping pad. Got this pillow and it helps a lot, keeps my head in place so I don't get disoriented. I tried that trekology one everybody recommends as well but it started to deflated after a few trips.
