What ruins your walks in the woods?
My only accessible innawoods-ish place is a park in the middle of the county. The closest national forest is three hours away.
The fucking apple cores piss me off. Sure, they'll decompose, but why leave them on the edge of the fucking trail?!
And the women who think they're exercising! They're all bitching to or at each other -- every single time. If they're along, they're talking on their cell phones. You can hear them a full minute before you see them, when they come around the corner in $300 of REI exercise gear, strolling with their arms bent as if it makes a difference.
I pause to look at some deer in the field, hear the echoing gripes, and the deer take off into the tree line. the ONE time they don't scare the deer off? They stop, and start SCREAMING about OH MY GOD I HEARD THERE WERE DEER HERE BUT I NEVER SAW ANY BEFORE THERE'S SOME NOW! AWWwww ... IT RAN OFF! WHY'D IT RUN AWAY?! I DON'T SEE IT IN THE TREES NOW!
At least when I start on the rocky trails, and the hills, most of the people there appreciate nature, or are at least too winded or concentrating on foot placement to be noisy.
