>>2371908>>2371904This was in Nagano, Japan and it’s called Togashiki Shrine. There’s a much longer trail, but I didn’t really have time to do it. This was only about 2 km but I did end up hiking quite a bit more that day in other areas of Nagano.
>>2371906This is Keramashoto National Park in Okinawa. I brought my kayak with me and spent the day on an uninhabited island mixing margaritas, paddling around, and hiking up to this lighthouse where the shot was taken.
>>2371909This is in Miyajima off the beaten path on a trail up to the top of an observation tower. The entire island is dotted with shrines and these tiny deer were once believed to be messengers of the gods. As such they were worshipped and fed by people which has mostly domesticated them over the centuries.
This pic is from Mt Aso, a giant active volcano in the southern part of Japan. This picture is taken from a peak above called Nakodake and was about a 11 km hike through some very weird terrain.
