I recently watched "Happy people; a year in the Taiga" and I really liked it. I stumbled upon it by accident and i havn't heard or read about it so i figured i might tell you guys about it.

Also, do you know any movies like it? I like the Dick Proenneke movies. I've watched some of the Alaska; The Last Frontier but I find it a little off. I mean all these times the narrator says things like "Atz Lee needs to find small game or the family will starve to death". I'm not sure but there should be a supermarket not far away from the homestead so it's a little bit too overacted for me.

I'm not saying the movies have to be true stories, so bring 'em here lads
