Have a son now so pretty much quit boating, certainly nothing steep, though I do take him out at a couple of very mellow spots. Occasionally hit a local play wave, that’s about it.
Mostly mtb and mx now - at least if that goes wrong I’m just looking at a broken bone or something.
Was going to post wave, but this is peak local creek. All day IV-V+, this drop goes into a natural tunnel with a drop half way through, pretty intimidating.
No calm spots to speak of, basically that steep the whole way.
They’re talking about damming it which would be a shame, but there’s only a handful of people that have or could run it anyway, and foot access is infeasible.
