I've explored a few abandoned mines. The pictures are on my computer, not my phone, but here's one I found in the hills above a friend's house. I specifically avoid situations like your OP picture, because it's a good way to get stuck and SAR in my state seems to be 50/50 on whether or not they will come down into a mine and retrieve you.

I've gone caving plenty, but never tried any openings as narrow as what your videos show. Caves are super fun, but if I can't do an army crawl through the passage then i'm not gonna try and pass through, too much risk involved.

There's three high crawl and low crawl

High crawl is is on your knees and forearms, head facing forward but low. Idea is to keep as low of a profile as possible.

Low crawl is as flat as possible with the side of your head on the ground. Slice your lead arm forward and grab the ground to pull yourself forward. Kicking a bit with your legs to assist.

High crawl is faster while low crawl is painstakingly slow but if you're legit low crawling then there's bullets flying a foot overhead so speed is less important.

That's fucking disgusting. These people must have very little to fear. I'm guessing that as soon as I got stuck, my body would tense up and i really would be permanently jammed. I much prefer hanging off an exposed cliff

i am from MA, just not blackstone specifically. when i was getting lost, i had driven a moped to providence to see about entering a clinical trial but they denied me for being too self-aware. then i started driving down random roads and ran out of gas in one of the random dump towns. fortunately there was a "gas station" close by (really just a house with a gas pump where some dudes hung out)
