In the USA I just go to public land and plop a tent down and I'm good. I tried that in Germany and got fucking fined. What the fuck? How is it public if I can't use it for recreation? That's gay as shit. it's not pubic if you can't hike, pitch a tent, and use it as a member of the public. Where in Europe can I wild camp? I'm sick of this shit.
