What's the opinion on oilskin around these parts?
Its been a staple of ranching, ship rigging, heavy duty outdoors work, Bushcraft for hundreds of years so its obviously tried and tested, but you people talk about it that much despite usually being considered a buy it for life product.
Drizabone, Barbour, Out back, New Forest etc
What brands are recommended? Have you got oilskin products and how do they compare to more modern materials?
