>>2405759>bubbaThe Bubba's barrels are like $2-3k plus shipping. The only tools you really need is a drill and step drill hit. Once you do it you'll reaize how dead simple it is, I felt the same way at first and thought about buying from Bubba too.
>hoseYeah you need a hose to plug up to the drum yeah, but you can plug a hose up to your sink with some attachments.
>wiring Its a 120v heating element so it plugs into the wall, and the wiring is dead simple (just screw two wires into the element, then screw the ground into the enclosure). It'll make sense when I get a pic up.
>yield40 5lb bags, first flush I get 1.3lbs per block at least, and you can get over two lbs easily if you let it go to second flush or beyond. So per drum cycle you're looking at 52lbs of mushies. Takes about 3 weeks from running the drum to harvesting under ideal conditions.
>freeze dryI never have but would love to try. Thought about building a DIY. I've heard it preserves taste better. But for gourmets you'd have to have this being done in a certified kitchen and with a business liscense, so if you're considering this you've got plenty of time to figure it out.
>ms to grain, 66qtIt was MS to agar to grain, yeah. And yeah it was a 66qt, not quite a full canopy yet but hopefully on the next round. I've only jiffy cased PE, but even for those I'm just doing a thick, compressed top layer now.
>I'll guideI'll try getting it done this week, waiting on parts rn. And no problem I like answering these questions, it can be hard to figure that stuff out. Better than the millionth "so uhh how do i grow?" or some schizo insisting MS->agar-> is impossible and their shit idea works better.
