I've lived in the East, Midwest and West and I have to say that the Rockies/West blow everything else out of the water in terms of /out/. I think most of the East coast cope is simply that, cope. They've never had the experience of being innawoods with nobody for tens of sq mi. Alaska is of course, king, but overall, the West is way better than the East. Cope, seethe, cry about frog pictures and of course, sage.
