many comfy nights, also many cold nights, will be investing in a winter bag soon. that's the only thing I'd spend more on, a warmer sleeping bag.
charity shops are great for camping gear like stoves, mess tins, tents, tent pegs. recently got an ultralight tarp in one for a fiver.
